Betty Wilson
Betty Sue Wilson, 75, died on July 27, 2016.
She joined New Anointing Pure Holiness Church, where she became very close to Bishop Ringer and Mother Betty Ringer. Betty was employed for Attorney Richard (Peggy) Willingham for many years and was employed at Life Care and Health South where she retired.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Bertha Wilson, Sr.; two sons, three sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Ricks; daughter, Belinda (Andre) Hutchinson; son, Graylon (Reba) Wilson; two brothers-in-law; four sisters-in law; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friend, Ann Avila.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at New Anointing Pure Holiness Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Miller officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Aug. 5, and family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
