First Tennessee Bank Launches Digital Delegates Program

Digital Champions Will Offer Service, Support For Online, Mobile Banking

  • Tuesday, August 9, 2016

In support of the launch of its Digital Banking 2.0 enhanced online platform, First Tennessee Bank has staffed its financial centers with specially trained employees to provide service and support for online and mobile banking customers.

Digital Banking 2.0 is a new suite of online products offered at First Tennessee, including budgeting tools, savings goal setting and tracking functions, improved alert functionality, as well as the ability to pull accounts into one place.

First Tennessee’s Digital Delegate program, which is a collaborative effort between the bank’s customer channels such as digital, retail and call services, aims to educate and guide customers and employees through the changes of the digital banking landscape.

"Our Digital Delegate program is in place to ensure that customers have a positive experience as they transition to the new online and mobile banking services,” said Chattanooga Market President Jeff Jackson.

Each First Tennessee financial center throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding areas will have an on-site digital delegate to answer any and all questions related to the new online banking platform.

“Outstanding customer service has been a core value of First Tennessee for 152 years and these digital enhancements and offerings give us new opportunities to demonstrate this commitment,” said Kevin Karrels, senior vice president of digital solutions for First Tennessee.

Customers will be notified via e-mail when their accounts are scheduled to be moved; their online banking credentials will remain the same.
