Libertarian Party Of NW Georgia Holds Cross Walk Protest Monday

The newly founded Libertarian Party of Northwest Georgia is hosting inaugural events including a Monday demonstration,The Cross Walk Protest and Sign Waving, highlighting tactics by the U.S. Presidential Election Debate Committee.  Local Libertarians will protest to advocate for past successful two-term governor, Gary Johnson to be allowed to participate in presidential debates. 

The Cross Walk Protest and sign waving for the Johnson/Weld campaign and the #LetGaryDebate movement will be held at the corner of Fant Drive and Battlefield Parkway on Monday between 5-8 p.m.  

There will also be an open meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the greater NW Georgia communities at Fort Oglethorpe, O’Charley’s.  There will be a presentation on the electoral college and an explanation to what happens if no candidate earns the needed 270 votes.
