Glenda Sipe Price, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the family residence.
She was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church. She was retired from Magic Chef/Maytag after 42 years of service. She loved to sew, read, cook, listen to music and tend to her flowers. She was loved by and adored by her family and enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren.
Mrs. Price was the daughter of the late Glen Herbert Sipe and Nora Ellen Lindsey; and was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Pryor and Laura Lindsey; brothers, Paul Sipe and Lamont Sipe; and sister, Dorothy Sipe.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth A. Price of Cleveland; one daughter, Rosa Roberts and husband, Ronald of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Elijah, Lindsey and Hannah Roberts all of Cleveland; two sisters, Sandra Marlene Woods and Phyllis Brown both of Georgetown; uncle, James (Bud) Lindsey; and aunt, Melba Hickman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend David Evans and Reverend Homer Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
