Lineman For The Electric Power Board For 40 Years

James William Gilliam, 75, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at his home.

The son of the late Ivan Stanton Gilliam and Geneva Elizabeth Ament Gilliam he was retired from Chattanooga Electric Power Board where he worked as a lineman for 40 years.

He was also a member of the TN National Guard, I.B.E.W and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Mount Gilliam, of Signal Mountain; son, Gregory (Beth) Gilliam, of Lakesite; daughter, Chrisi (John) Barker, of Dunlap; brother, Dewey Gilliam, of South Pittsburg, and five grandchildren.

At Mr. Gilliam's request there will be no visitation or services.
