Regina Jo Carty, 56, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in a local hospital.
She was born in Cleveland, TN on May 13, 1960 to the late Don George and Virginia Davis George. She was of the Baptist faith. Regina worked for many years as a CNA. She was an avid animal lover who enjoyed taking care of people.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by one son Justin Eslinger; one sister Sharon Elise George; and one brother Danny George.
Regina is survived by her loving and devoted husband Dallas Carty; four sons Ivan Pritchett, Marcus Anderson, Cody Grady (Allison) and Chris Carty (Brittany); two grandchildren Brianna and Zachery; two brothers Roy George (Lisa) and Troy George (Chrissy); numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Monday, January 23 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Chris Everhart officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7 p.m. service time in the funeral home parlor.
