Thelma Euva Poole, 90, of Sale Creek, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at her home.
Thelma was born in Graysville on May 9, 1927 the daughter of the late Thomas and Marcella Ethel (Walker) Reel. She was also preceded in death by her husband Archie James Poole.
Thelma was a homemaker and loved to crochet, knit and read.
She is survived by two daughters Judy (Carlos) Cordell of Sale Creek, Jackie (Danny) Hixson of Sale Creek, two sons, Jimmy (June) Poole of Evensville, and Sammy Poole of Hermitage, one brother, Bobby (Georgia) James of Soddy Daisy, nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Thelma will be held on Thursday, at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Archie D. Poole officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Shelton Cemetery in Sale Creek on Friday at 10 a.m.
