Dr. Art Sutherland To Speak On Health Care On Nov. 2

  • Tuesday, October 3, 2017

Dr. Art Sutherland, state coordinator of the Tennessee Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), will discuss healthcare in Chattanooga on Nov. 2.

Officials said, "Dr. Sutherland poses the question, 'How do we achieve healthcare justice in America?'” He believes our current, profit-driven private health insurance system fails to contain costs or provide equitable health care for all Americans.

As part of PNHP, he advocates to replace the Affordable Care Act with Medicare for All."

The public is invited to Dr. Sutherland’s presentation from 6-8 p.m.at Pilgrim Congregational Church on Glenwood Drive.

The event is sponsored by the Hamilton County Democratic Party and the Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Club.
