Kevin Jackson Hopkins, 46, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
He worked for Shaw Industries for 26 years. Kevin was devoted to his family and loved them dearly. Known for his wheeling and dealing, he was loved by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hopkins and Peggy Adams Hopkins.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dee Hopkins of LaFayette; daughters, Angel (Jeremy Wallace) Brown, Paige Hopkins, and Cherish (Aaron Ackerman) Hopkins all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Hunter Barrett and Emily Barrett; sister, Jennifer (Jacob) Lawrence of LaFayette; brother, Randy Hopkins of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, in Crest-Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Clay Rowlette, Jessie Scott, Steven Strickland, Benny Scott, Justin Lawrence, and Isaac Lawrence.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 3–9 p.m. and Sunday from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
