Saralyn Kelley, 79, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2017.
She was a retired school teacher spending the majority of her career at Gann’s Middle Valley Elementary School.
Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Rowena Green Sr. and her daughter Elisabeth Carlen.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 years, Ernest Kelly; daughters, Polly Lynch and Darlene Johnston; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as two brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. The interment will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Donald S. Kelley officiating.
