Forrest “Wally” Wallisch, 82, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on November 16, 2017.

He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for several years. Wally served in the United States Navy and was the owner/operator of Wally’s Plumbing for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mayme Wallisch; son, Jeffery Wallisch and brother, Jack Wallisch.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Wallisch; children, Brian (Carol) Wallisch, Roger (Linda) Wallisch, Lisa (Greg) Smith and Susan (Greg) Burton; grandchildren, Zack (Katlynn), Julie (Barry), Austin (Jillian), Miranda, Tyler, Madison, Chase, Greg (Casey), Adam and Brent; great-grandchildren, Mason, Brantley and Elliott; sisters, Pat Clark and Melba (Orville) Dodson; sister-in-law, Colleen Wallisch; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff, patients and friends at Chattanooga Kidney Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area, Inc., 2300 East 3rd Street, Suite B, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 20, from 4-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with Dr. Fred Steelman and Reverend Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
