Houston Museum Annual Holiday Tea On High Street Set For Dec. 3

The annual Holiday Tea on High Street at the Houston Museum for Decorative Arts is scheduled for Dec. 3 with two seatings: 1-2:30 p.m. and 2:30-4 p.m. 

The event is a fundraiser for the Houston Museum.  The gift shop will be open with plenty of gift-giving ideas, plus a 10 percent discount. 

The authentic English tea party features scones with lemon curd, clotted cream, finger sandwiches, trifle, savories and sweets, in addition to English tea.

Admission includes a guided tour of the Victorian home and its rare collection of antiques.

Admission is $25 per adult, $5 for children four-12 and $20 for 65 and older. Reservations are suggested but not required. RSVP by calling 423-267-7176 or email to houstonmuseumchattanooga@gmail.com.
