Linda Murray
Linda Murray, 74, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017.
She was a faithful member at Macedonia Baptist Church. Many knew Linda from her time as a tax preparer and administrative assistant, both of which she enjoyed because of her desire to help and serve others. She further carried out this passion by always looking for every opportunity to help others in need. Linda enjoyed gardening in her free time but more than anything she loved her family. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Velma Silvers; and brothers, Austin Silvers, Thomas P. Silvers, and James Silvers.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 54 years, C.L. Murray; children, Rodney Murray (Pamela) and Lori Underwood (David); grandchildren, Hannah Jane Underwood and Andrew Underwood; siblings, Steve Silvers, Terry Silvers, Charles Silvers, and Janice Matthews; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service is planned for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Macedonia Baptist Church in Linda’s honor.
