Mary Barton Cowan Young, 85, of Sewanee, Tennessee, passed away Saturday March 18, 2017.
Mary was a member of the Holly Ave. Methodist Church of South Pittsburg, TN. She spent her time volunteering in many organizations Lions Club, Red Hats and Red Cross. Mary did numerous Missions to the Philippines, Panama & Costa Rica.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. George Young.
She is survived by her son James (Cynthia) Young; and the many lives she touched along the way.
Visitation will be Monday March 20, from 2-8 p.m. CST and Tuesday March 21, at 12 p.m. CST until time of service.
Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday March 21, at 2 p.m. CST. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
