Sharon Louise DeSha, 69, of Rossville, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in a local hospital.
Sharon was born on April 2, 1948, in Champaign, Illinois. She attended the Jones Memorial Baptist Church, was the owner of Brown’s Corner Country Store, and she loved animals.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Joe Benson.
Survivors include her mother, Katherine Mobley Trotter; daughter, Frances DeSha; son, Jason Desha; brothers, Mike Benson, Joe (Debbie) Benson, and Robbie (Cheryl) Trotter; sisters, Gloria Duke and Monica “Rinky” (Jeff) Brown; two grandchildren, Nicole and Trevor DeSha; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
