Tommy Staton
Tommy Wade Staton, 64, of Hixson passed peacefully in his sleep on April 25, 2017 at his residence from natural causes.
Tommy has gone to be with God, his beloved mother, Velma Louise; father, Marion Jack; brother, Gary Staton.
Veteran PFC Staton served in the United States Army from August 25, 1972 - April 15, 1978.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Soni Staton; nephew, Chase Staton; nieces, Michelle Staton and Carmen (Matt) Harvey; several great-nieces and nephews. Tommy was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Williams officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
