The Red Bank Lionettes didn't win the Jim Frost Ooltewah Invitational softball tournament this weekend, but it was a productive event as Red Bank won three straight games on Saturday before falling to Scottsboro in the championship semifinals.

The Lionettes had wins over Bradley (6-3), Farragut (7-3) and East Hamilton (7-3) before losing 10-4 to Scottsboro.

Hannah Wood was the winning pitcher in all three games the Lionettes won as she improved to 8-0 for the season.

Her grand slam in the fourth inning was the highlight of the win over Bradley as she finished with two hits in that game.  Sami Shrader, Kendall Farr and Casey Stewart also had two hits apiece in that game.

Hannah Land and Farr both had two RBIs in the win over Farragut while Destiny Painter, Lydia Dillard and Shrader all had two hits.

Shelby Romans, Farr, Stewart and Land all had two hits in the win over East Hamilton with Stewart driving in three runs ande Land two.

Kelsey Peden and Shrader both had two hits and Peden two RBIs in the loss to Scottsboro while Dillard also had a home run.

The Lionettes are scheduled to play at Boyd-Buchanan on Monday, weather permitting, while they will be a home on Tuesday to host Brainerd in a district game.
