Emily McDonald, 89, of Grandview, Tennessee, completed her earthly task on April 8, 2017.
Through her trust in Jesus Christ, she went to her home in heaven where she waits on those she left behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. McDonald.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Simpson and Mary Jullette; granddaughters, Lynnette Rylander, Kathy Ellis and Tiffany Taylor; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.
