Morning Pointe Volunteers Make "Meaningful Days" For Seniors

It is volunteers like Jade West, student at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, that help create Meaningful Days at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Chattanooga.

 

Every Tuesday and Thursday, Mr. West spends the day at the memory care community helping with morning routines and outings. Morning Pointe embraces partnerships with local schools, colleges and universities, as the seniors enjoy the many benefits of intergenerational activities while interacting with the young adults.
