Humane Society Offering $500 Reward For Information Relating To Person Who Dumped Doberman On Hidden Branch Road

  • Tuesday, May 23, 2017

The Humane Educational Society is offering a $500 reward for tips leading to the arrest of the individual who abandoned a red Doberman lab mix on Hidden Branch Road.

The homeowner reported that another dog had been dumped at the same location just a week before and was adopted by a neighbor.

On Monday, what appears to be a dark-colored Honda CRV pulled up to 8924 Hidden Branch Road and threw a red Doberman lab mix puppy out of the vehicle. The dog sat for a moment before attempting to chase the vehicle, HES officials said.

A nearby homeowner caught the incident on tape and contacted the Humane Educational Society.

The puppy is now in the custody of the Humane Educational Society.

The dog was not injured nor did it require any special medical care.

Anyone with information should contact the Humane Educational Society at 423 624-5302.
