Joseph Powell
Joseph Gerald Powell, 70, of Lookout Mountain, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017.
He was retired from Roper and had served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clara Powell.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Powell; daughter, Hannah Powell; sons, James (April) Veal, Kevin Powell and Brittlee (Gretchen) Veal; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Broome, Lacy Broome, Brittlee Veal II, Charity Veal, Jacob Veal, Bruce Veal and Hadley Powell.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 29, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Mark Finlayson officiating. Burial will be held in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 12-8 p.m., and Monday, from 12-3 p.m.
