Organizers announce they are counting down to the Chattanooga Zine Fest next week with a handful of community events happening, starting Thursday. "If you're in the area, please check us out and say hi."

Chattanooga's Comix Co-Op is having a meet up at Infinity Flux focused on ZINES. "This week’s co-op meeting will be dedicated to those little books that help us express our weird thoughts; arouse firestorms; and allow us to be creatively uninhibited," officials said.
Thursday, 4 p.m.
Sew What at the Library: "If you have some time in the afternoon, come hang out in the library's sewing lab and learn to use the sewing machines to help us make paper garland for the festival readers lounge," organizers said.

Drink n Draw with Aggie Toppins: the founder of the festival and zine library speaks about what influences her own experimental publishing projects for The Unofficial Press.

Picnic In The Passageways: "We'll be downtown hanging out at this cool art installation with a bunch of other fun peeps to remind everyone about Zinefest.
Come grab lunch and take your selfie in our hand sewn paper garland selfie booth," organizers said.
