CFC Prepares For Five Home Games In Two Weeks

  • Monday, June 12, 2017

Chattanooga Football Club has a lot to offer fans both old and new over the next two weeks. Starting this Thursday, June 15, CFC will play FIVE home matches at FORT Finley Stadium in just 14 days:

New Orleans, THURSDAY, June 15
Inter Nashville, June 17
Birmingham, June 20
FC Carolina, June 24
Memphis City, June 28

"These two weeks are our season, basically," said Bill Elliott, Head Coach, Chattanooga Football Club. "We've been on the road a lot this season, and now we get to reap the benefit of that by playing the next stretch at home.

We're expecting to capitalize on last Thursday's win in Birmingham and bring that momentum home."

The June 20 home match against Birmingham Hammers is an unexpected addition. Originally, Birmingham visited FORT Finley on May 20th but adverse weather conditions forced NPSL to postpone the game. The match will begin in the 22nd minute with a 1-0 CFC lead.

"These two weeks are going to be one big party for both those curious about attending their first CFC match and those of us dyed in the wool," said Tim Kelly, CFC Chairman of the Board. "We need all hands on deck to help us cheer on the team and re-establish our position at the top of the conference."
