Morning Pointe "Treats" Local Daycare Workers

  • Monday, June 5, 2017

Daycare workers were honored for a job well done, as Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford residents spent the afternoon baking cartoon cookies to thank the employees at Tree of Knowledge daycare in East Brainerd. Hello Kitty and Ninja Turtles were the themes of the tasty treats, as the seniors enjoyed sharing their appreciation for those who care for local children.

But this act of kindness is nothing new for the residents.

Since the beginning of the year, Morning Pointe's senior living and memory care communities across the Southeast have been paying it forward. The goodwill of the seniors and associates inspired the "Make Your Mark" campaign – a yearlong project to give back 20,000 hours of community service in 2017.
