MurMaid Mattress and the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce will have a groundbreaking event for the new MurMaid Mattress flagship store at the corner of Lee Highway and Highway 153 on Wednesday, July 26, at 11 a.m.
MurMaid Mattress is a factory direct mattress manufacturer/retailer selling its own brand as well as national brand mattresses, boxsprings, adjustable power bases as well as top of bed accessories direct to the public.
MurMaid Mattress hopes to have this new store open in approximately six months. This will be the 12th MurMaid location with its original location being just two miles to the northeast, opened in 1979, which will soon be converted to a 14,000-square foot clearance center.
MurMaid Mattress’s other locations are in Cleveland, Hixson, Red Bank, downtown Chattanooga on the North Shore, Ft. Oglethorpe and Dalton.
