Stone, Terry R. (Benton)

Terry R. Stone, Sr., 63, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired after 30+ years from Eaton Corporation, Cleveland.  He loved NASCAR, fishing, hunting, spending time on the river, and as he always said, “float or motor boat.”  
   
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint Buck and Nora Lee Stone; brother, Don Alan Stone.   

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Stacey D. Stone of Benton; son, T. R. Stone of Benton; step-sons, Matthew (Tracey) Mount, Tyler Mount, Stephen (Shwna) Roper, Noah Allen; granddaughters, Rebecca Roper, Trinity Mount; sisters, Sandra Jenkins and husband R. L. of Old Fort, Tn., Janice Headrick and husband Bruce of Dalton, and Carolyn Elliott of Cleveland. Several nieces, nephews, and many close friends also survive. 
  
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton with the Reverend Bruce Headrick officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family expresses a special "thank you" to Hearth Hospice and caregiver, Laura.
