Transit Expert Jarrett Walker To Help In Process For Multi-Modal Transit Center

Transit expert Jarrett Walker will be coming to Chattanooga to help in the process for developing a multi-modal transit center and other transit issues.

He is the author of the book Human Transit.

CARTA officials said the visit will be underwritten by the Lyndhurst Foundation.

He will lead a day-long workshop on Nov. 17. There will be 40 invited guests to the event.

The night before he will be involved in a lecture series sponsored by the Urban Design Studio.
