Bill Reed Lollar, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July, 21, 2017.

He was born in Sparta, Tn., in 1932. He owned and operated Bill’s Barber Shop in Chattanooga for 45 years before retiring for health reasons.

He was an active member of Concord Baptist Church.

Bill was a member of Dalewood – Lakeside Lion’s Club where he received the Melvin Jones Award. He served our country during the Korean War. He greatly appreciated the kindness shown to him during his illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed Lollar and Erma Jones Lollar, three sisters, Maryel Dean Mullins, Wanda Lollar, Nell Lollar and two brothers, James Lollar and Leslie Lollar.

He is survived by his wife, Kathelene Rogers Lollar, two sons, Billy Roger Lollar and Robert Reed Lollar (Kim), all of Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on SundayJuly 30, at Concord Baptist Church with Pastor David King officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church.
