Chattanooga State Presents Processes In Manufacturing Summit On Aug. 18

The Engineering and Information Technologies division at Chattanooga State Community College will present its free Annual Summit 2017 on Friday, Aug. 18, in the Omniplex building, room 124/126. Participants should enter the campus using ChattState’s main entrance to reach to the OMN building.

The summit will involve discussions about additive manufacturing, quality, nuclear processes and more. Participants may check in at 8:30 a.m.

Program presentations include:
3D Printing in Nuclear: Robert Temple, Operations Manager, Westinghouse Electric Company

Building Scale 3D Printing, Concepts & Changes for the Future of Construction: Platt Boyd, Branch Technology

3D Printing in Quality Control: Daniel Lewis, Quality Engineer, Newcomb Spring Corporation

Discussions about expanding opportunities for ChattState students during a free working lunch at noon will precede a panel question and answer session.
