Lerlena Purter
Lerlena Purter, 95, passed away on September 7, 2017. She was a graduate of Tuskegee University with a degree in nursing. She retired from T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital as a LPN in the pediatric unit.
She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and a member of the Hamilton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chattanooga, TN.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Clarence E. Purter, II (Patricia); granddaughter, Alicia Purter; grandson, Antonio Purter; cousin, Johnny Moss; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Gene Hester presiding. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Tuesday, September 12th.
