Cleveland State Women's Volleyball At Home Next Week

  • Wednesday, September 13, 2017

The Lady Cougars bring it home next week with two matchups against Covenant College and Bryan College. The Lady Cougars are 6-1 on the season and are enjoying their recent success. Seeing as this team is the first ever women’s volleyball team in Cleveland State history, starting off the season strong was imperative to building a successful program for the future. As of right now, that’s exactly what they’ve done.

The Lady Cougars are averaging 3.29 kills per set, 2.14 assists per set, 1.79 blocks per set and 6.29 digs per set. They focus on strong team play and strive for consistency on the court. So far, their record speaks to that.

Coming up the Lady Cougars will take on Covenant College on Monday, at 6 p.m., and Bryan College on Wednesday, at 6 p.m.
