Irma Johnson Stuart, 85 of Ringgold passed away Monday Sept. 18, 2017 at her home. She was born Jan. 6, 1932 to the late Ralph and Myrtle Blosser in St. Louis, Mo. Irma has lived in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area for the past 54 years and was of the Christian faith. She retired from Siskin Steel after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by a former husband, Robert Johnson; son Steven Johnson and daughter Linda McBane.
Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, George Stuart; son, Johnny Jones, East Ridge; daughters, Susan Wagner, Texas, Sandra Perry, Alabama, Cheryl Tomlin, Alabama, and Debra Nevins, Ringgold; stepchildren, Dewayne Stuart, Mississippi and Cecil Stuart, Mississippi, Belinda Manning, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Kevin Beckler officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
