Lillie Mae Montgomery Wofford, age 80, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017.  

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Montgomery, and Jamie Wofford; mother, Pearlie Mae Johnson; father, Homer Moss; son, Arthur Montgomery; daughter, Elizabeth Montgomery; and two sisters, Jesse Green, and Vera Dillard. 

She is survived by her sister, Edna Mae Daniel of Rome, Ga.; six children, David Johnson, Thomas (Ginger) Montgomery, Valdas Montgomery, Lillie Lynnette (Lavern) Anderson, Esdralean Montgomery, and Anthony (Alice) Montgomery; grandchildren, Marcelle (Francy) Anderson, Vonzetta Anderson, Denorris Johnson, Kayla Montgomery, Genna Montgomery, Tamika Montgomery, Maranda Vasquez, and Breeann Montgomery; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, at noon at the Chapel with Dr. Stephen Thomas, Dr. Bennie Tibbs officiating.  Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Sunday after noon until the funeral hour on Monday.  

Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
