A local knitting group has donated over 870 hand-made hats to pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

After spending time with her own baby, Madelyn, in the Children’s Hospital Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, Dana Hamilton decided to use her love for knitting to make infants feel loved and supported throughout their stay in the NICU. She created the “NICU Noggins Knitalong” retreat to provide local knitters the opportunity to give back by making hats for patients in the Children’s Hospital NICU and also in the Pediatric Oncology department.
