A quarter-million-dollar EPB truck was stolen Monday outside Cheddar's restaurant on Gunbarrel Road. But GPS quickly turned it up at a nearby Walmart parking lot.

Michael William Milner, 27, of 6175 White Tail Dr., Ooltewah, was charged with theft over $60,000.

Police said they were flagged down by a man in a silver SUV who was very upset. The EPB employee said he and his wife went out to dinner, then walked outside to find the vehicle missing.

He said the bucket truck was valued at between $200,000 and $250,000.

He said the GPS was pinging at the nearby lot. Police quickly located the valuable vehicle.

The driver, Milner, was asked to step outside.

The EPB employee said there were some items missing from the vehicle. Police said they found some papers, headphones, gum and $5 cash on Milner. The employee said those items had been in the center console.
