People In Glass Houses - And Response

  • Monday, January 8, 2018

I will admit that like most Americans I didn't waste my time watching the so called " Golden Globes" last night.  I did however read some of the remarks made from the stage by women that looked like they might catch cold in all those (almost) black dresses.  Women like Sharon Stone who is known for one scene in a movie.

An industry that for at least 50 years has used sex and perversion to line their pockets while almost single-handedly destroying the moral perspective of so many generations of our youth. Now they want to lecture America on how to treat women? Please. I suggest they put their clothes back on, get out of the sack, put down the drugs, and quit attacking America's traditional morality.  Use their industry of propaganda to lift up generations of our kids not to mock God, traditional values, and the family.  Then and only then will these smut merchants of Hollywood have the right to lecture anyone.

Dressing in black last night was so appropriate for an industry that has for so many years been focused on making movies for only two motives: making money and killing once wholesome family values. I for one will not pay good money to support "stars" and pictures focused on these perverted motives.

Gone are the days of Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Shirley Temple, The Brady Bunch,  or The Walt Disney (of Walt) for our kids, and Bob Hope, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Mickey Rooney, Gary Cooper, Maureen O'Hara, Debby Reynolds, Doris Day, and Dinah Shore for our adults. What a shame that this generation is being manipulated by these dirt bags that despise this once great nation and the moral values that our founding fathers fought and died to leave us.

Mr. Reesor, there is a story from the 1950s about William Boyd who portrayed Hopalong Cassidy on the radio and early TV. Apparently Boyd who was cast in a role that would be a favorite with kids was a heavy drinker and known for his bad behavior. After seeing the admiration of the young people for his character, Boyd changed and stopped the drunkenness and bad behavior because he was now a role model of the positive kind for young people. But times are different now.

The people you referenced last night spend a huge percentage of their lives in costumes and a fantasy world. Glowing admiration by gleeful and giddy fans literally goes to their head. That’s how a guy like Leonardo DiCaprio can fancy himself a climatologist or Barbara Streisand who is reputed to be worth over $340 million can lecture Republicans on pandering to the rich while raising her taxes. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone except their gawking fans or friendly politicians who believe anything they say.

Whenever those lights and cameras come on for whatever reason we have no idea if they are acting or being sincere. They may not know either.
