Senior Health Fair And Fall Festival Set For Oct. 18 At River View Tower

River View Tower (formerly Jaycee Towers), in conjunction with Chattanooga Housing Authority’s Senior Sites, are partnering with United Healthcare Community Plan and Southeast TN Area Agency on Aging and Disability to hold their First Annual Senior Health Fair & Fall Festival.  This “Senior Living, Healthy Living” event will be held in the newly $12 million renovated River View Tower Courtyard area, 500 West M. L. King Blvd., on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The entire community is invited to attend and receive health information and screenings, along with light refreshments and door prizes.

"Our seniors are a vulnerable and vital part of our population and their unique healthcare and lifestyle needs are sometimes overlooked, but we are doing our part to solve that problem," officials said.
