Paul David Layman
Paul David Layman, age 68, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at home surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bernice Layman; sisters, Helen Layman and Dorthy Honeycutt; and brothers, Charles Layman, Tommy Layman, and Ronald Layman.
He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances ”Polly” Layman of the residence; daughters and son-in-laws, Juanita and Wesley Seay of Varnell, Connie and Paul Pittman of Dalton, adopted daughter, Ann Floyd of Aragon; son, Paul Layman Jr. of Varnell; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Danny Wrape of Eton; sister-in-laws, Susan Whitley of Alabama and Marie and David Cupp of Alabama; brother-in-law, Curtis Milner of Rockmart; grandchildren, Steven Dunn, Nathan Dunn, Chris Dunn, Corey Dunn, Blake Seay, Brittany Pittman, Taylor Pittman, Kelsey Pittman, Carley Layman, Brandon Layman, Caitlyn Seay; step-grandchildren, Ricky Floyd Jr., Andrew Floyd, and Aqua Cook; 21 great-grandchildren; special nephew and niece, Lee and Holly Layman; and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Robertson officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Monday from 5-9 p.m.
