ChattaNeuter Awarded 2018 Platinum Seal Of Transparency From GuideStar

  • Monday, November 26, 2018

ChattanNeuter has been recognized by GuideStar, a watchdog group for non-profits.  The Platinum Seal of Transparency verifies that ChattaNeuter is among the nation’s leaders in stewardship of funding given to them.

Here’s the announcement from GuideStar:

"Great news! ChattaNeuter has just earned the 2018 Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. By recognizing ChattaNeuter’s attention to detail and stewardship of the funding given to them, GuideStar is helping the public’s awareness of ChattaNeuter’s progress in giving and using funds.  Stewardship of funds is the main gauge of this award and ChattaNeuter has met and exceeded our standards.

"The GuideStar Platinum Award is used to share our full and complete story with the world. To reach the Platinum level, we added extensive information that each nonprofit must provide us: basic contact and organizational information; in-depth financial information; quantitative information about goals, strategies and progress toward their mission.  All of this data tells donors and grant makers alike about the challenges and opportunities faced in the greater Chattanooga area.  This level of transparency will help ChattaNeuter attract more funders that will help make their services available to people of all income levels.  At ChattaNeuter they understand that the love of a pet is a not a luxury but a bond that everyone should be able to experience.  Through generous donors and grants they have been awarded, ChattaNeuter has been able to greatly discount the services that they offer and support the public and almost a dozen local shelters and rescues with greatly discounted spay and neuter services."
