Danielle Ivens, a Kindergarten teacher at East Side Elementary, received an “I Am Hamilton” T-shirt for her work with the bright young children in her classroom. The district presents the special shirts to individuals for efforts that positively impact Hamilton County Schools and the children we serve.
“It is all about seeing the children grow because they may have tough struggles, but they keep trying, and they persevere,” said Ms.
Ivens. “Just seeing the smile on their faces when they are successful is what keeps me going each day.”
“I am Hamilton” spotlights the contributions of alumni, teachers, parents, students, support workers, and community members providing opportunities for children in the classrooms of Hamilton County Schools.
