Erlanger Health System Welcomes 2 New Urologists

UT Erlanger Urology welcomes Drs. Henry Okafor and Benjamin Waldorf to its growing network of physicians.

 

Dr. Okafor received his doctorate of medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He then completed his urology residency at State University of New York Upstate Medical University and his fellowship from Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Dr.

Okafor is fellowship trained in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction and specializes in the treatment of incontinence and pelvic reconstruction, and uro-gynecological robotic surgery.

 

Dr. Waldorf received his doctorate of medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He then completed his general surgery and urology residency programs at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center before completing fellowship training in minimally invasive robotic urologic oncology and reconstruction.

 

Dr. Waldorf’s areas of clinical interest are urologic oncology and urological robotic surgery, specifically the use of the DaVinci surgical robot to treat cancers of the kidney, bladder, and prostate, as well as repair the structures of the ureter.
