Southern Adventist University psychology students and residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Collegedale, celebrated the 2018 Winter Olympics with games of their own.

Residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Collegedale kicked off the 2018 Winter Olympics with games of their own. The seniors at the Alzheimer's memory care community challenged Southern Adventist University students to a game of "ice hockey,"

The residents and young adults created Olympic rings to celebrate the day's events, and finished with a competition of who could tackle their "mountains" of ice cream first.

Morning Pointe invites students from local schools, colleges and universities to interact with the seniors as part of the Meaningful Day(tm) program.
