Marie Tanner
Marie Tanner, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Marie was born in St. Elmo on April 2, 1927, to Claude and Cora Belle McJunkin.
She retired from 3M Credit Union as a bookkeeper. She was a Lady Shriner ,a Gray Lady, and a member of The Ministry Center. Marie was the kind of person that was always there for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will T. Tanner and granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Lee.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcella May; daughter, Sheila Larsen (Eric); grandchild, Stacy Bostic (Sam); great-grandchildren, Krystina Bean (Justin), Kody Bostic (Kellie), and Kari Ledford Heath; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, in the funeral home chapel with interment at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
