Joe Lanham
Joe Howard Lanham, Jr., 66, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his residence.
He was a native of Chattanooga and was preceded in death by his parents, Joe H. Lanham, Sr., and Mary “Sue” Lanham.
Joe retired from TVA. He enjoyed being out in the yard working on his fish pond. He loved old 50s movies, classic rock music, World War II planes and smoking a good cigar.
He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Lanham, daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Kevin O’Brien, son, Chris Lanham, all of Chattanooga, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Bill Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at the funeral home.
