Weekend Street Closures

Here are the weekend street closures:

Friday, Aug. 24

Nightfall - Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Boulevard will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 p.m. until midnight on Friday. This closure will be in effect each Friday night through Aug. 31.  

West Village Out on 8th  - W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2 p.m. on Friday until  8 a.m. on Saturday.  This closure will be in effect each Friday night through Oct. 27.   

Saturday, Aug. 25 

Village VW River Gorge Omnium -  The southbound lane of Market Street and the northbound lane of Broad Sreett will be closed at E. MLK Boulevard and W 12th Street. W 12th Street and the eastbound lane of E MLK Boulevard will also be closed from 10 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday for the Village VW River Gorge Omnium. 

The Cam Run - The Cameron Bean Memorial 5K will begin on Hamm Road and run down Moccasin Bend Road on Saturday from 8-9 a.m. The roads will remain open and the runners will be running in the opposing traffic lane for visibility.

West Village Street Festivals-  Pine Street between W 7th Street and W M.L. King Boulevard, and W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until midnight each Saturday through Jan. 19. 

Sunday, Aug. 26

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. each Sunday through Nov. 18.
