Dalton State Comes Home 3rd At Keiser Cup

Dalton State had a solid start to the season concluding with a 3rd place finish in the Keiser Cup at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. on Tuesday. The Lady Roadrunners posted a final round number of (+23, 311).

#3 Keiser (Fla.), (+36, 900), won their home tournament followed by #1 SCAD-Savannah, (+59, 923), in second. Dalton State would post (+63, 927) for the third place spot. #16 Southeastern (Fla.), (+63, 933), finished in fourth, while Keiser (B), (+83, 947), rounded out the top-5.

Freshman Cameron Daniel was the lowest finishing Lady Roadrunner in 6th overall.
Daniel shot (+6, 78) in her final round. All-American Isabel Rijos finished in the top-10 in 8th firing a (+5, 77) in her final round. All-American Katie Dalton made it three Lady Roadrunners in the top-15 with a 13th place finish and a final round (+5, 77).

Junior Haejin Choe continued her solid play on the course with a (+7, 79). Katelyn Skiffen rounded out the team with a (++9, 81) in her first tournament as a Lady Roadrunner. Hannah Gasaway, playing as an individual, posted a final round (+10, 82) to finish in the top-15 overall.

The #2-ranked Dalton State Women's Golf team will have a short turnaround as they hit the road to Hattiesburg, Miss. on Monday & Tuesday, September 24 & 25 as they look to defend their title in the Carey Collegiate Classic.
