Cleveland State Volleyball fell 3-0 to Johnson University on Thursday evening in Cleveland.

Despite what the final outcome may say, the Lady Cougars played a very competitive game,
falling 25-16, 25-17 and 25-17 in their sets against the Lady Royals. Stephanie Burke led all
Lady Cougar scorers with six kills, while Sydney Allen led with 15 assists. Lydia Martin posted
the most digs on the team with 17. Madeline Dasher and Loryn Wilson had two total blocks
each.

It was a happy homecoming for one former Lady Cougar tonight. Lady Cougar Ariana Smith led
all scorers with 12 kills in her return to Cleveland State.

The Lady Cougars will travel to the Wallace State Fall Bash on Friday and Saturday for four
matches in the tournament.

Their first is against Spartanburg Methodist at 4:00 PM Friday.
