The Heritage House will host a free screening of Klaus Kinski in Nosferatu, the Vampyr (1979) directed by Werner Herzog on Monday at 7 p.m.
Review for Nosferatu, the Vampyr:
Jonathan Harker is sent away to Count Dracula's castle to sell him a house in Virna, where he lives. But Count Dracula (Klaus Kinski) is a vampire, an undead ghoul living off men's blood. Inspired by a photograph of Lucy Harker (Isabelle Adjani), Jonathan's wife, Dracula moves to Virna, bringing with him death and plague.
An unusually contemplative version of Dracula, in which the vampire bears the cross of not being able to get old and die.
The movie is rated PG and runs for 1 hour, 47 minutes. It has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 95 percent.
Heritage House Arts & Civic Center is at 1428 Jenkins Road.
