The people of the Tennessee Valley opened their hearts to share their love for local police, fire, and first responders as WFLI AM 1070 and 97.7 FM and WDEF TV12 News collected thousands of candy hearts this Valentines Day as the “Share Your Heart With A Hero” campaign was an overwhelming success.  Representatives from almost  every local agency was on hand as they received armloads of sweets and well wishes from one of the participating sponsors, Mountain View Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Ringgold.

Representatives from law enforcement, fire, EMS were all smiles as representatives showed how much the Tennessee Valley appreciated their hard work to keep everyone safe as folks from WFLI, WDEF and Mountain View literally helped load chocolate hearts and love that were in turn shared with the hard working men and women of each represented agency.

The hearts were collected over the past three weeks during a series of live radio remotes on WFLI in the Greater Chattanooga and North Georgia areas.  People donated candy hearts or money to buy the hearts for their local heroes.

Sponsors of “Share Your Heart With A Hero” included Mountain View Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Guthrie’s, Real Living Southern Realty, WDEF News TV12  and WFLI 1070 AM and 97.7FM.
