Monte Matheney
Monte Lee Matheney, age 80, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019, in a local hospital.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1938, in Chattanooga to the late Horace and Ernestine Matheney.
Mr. Matheney was retired from Southern Company Nuclear Power Division.
He is survived by several close friends and family.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12–2 p.m. prior to the service at the North Chapel.
